ivanerik Another one that appeared on Sarah Shook's best of 2018 list. Well she's got bloody good taste I reckon, this is fab, as is part II of the same live set. More than the musicianship though it's the lyrical content that makes me come back and listen to this regularly. Both parts I and II are well worth checking out. Favorite track: White House Road.

Kyartangel The heartache in this song comes across so clearly. I don't know anyone who hasn't found themselves longing for a lost love. Regrets that are expressed so sadly and sweetly here by Tyler's masterful songwriting. Favorite track: Shake The Frost.

Mary Martin I love this record! This man knows what he is doing! Being from ky makes it so much better! I will be on the look out for the next time Tyler plays live somewhere!

Tyler Childers Paintsville, Kentucky

Tyler Childers is the finest songwriter to emerge from the Bluegrass State since Chris Knight and should be mentioned in the same breath as Fifth On the Floor, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapelton, and others who are currently leading the most notable renaissance of Kentucky music since Keith Whitley and Ricky Skaggs took Music City by storm 30 years ago.
